To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo De Matteis came free, but Birila Graña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match, Norino Tostado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gualter Roriz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 27th minute Andaka Mula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birila Graña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birila Graña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andaka Mula in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Delta FS's goal looked a bit too open when Maurinho Mendonça came free, but Gualter Roriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 played minutes Claretiano FC got a freekick which was hit by Favila Ribadas. Maurinho Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Gualter Roriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norino Tostado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claretiano FC's Birila Graña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Claretiano FC from getting a goal against them. Andaka Mula received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Birila Graña came out and tried to block the shot, but Andaka Mula slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Norino Tostado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birila Graña made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Andaka Mula sent off a good shot on target. Andaka Mula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Birila Graña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Marcus Odin sped through Claretiano FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Birila Graña. In the 79th minute Marcus Odin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birila Graña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Delta FS defense, Maurinho Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualter Roriz. The Delta FS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualter Roriz should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Claretiano FC's Birila Graña got control of the ball when Amedeo De Matteis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gualter Roriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Birila Graña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Vilaverde in the 94th minute of the match.
