A collision led to Sc Ajax Hirtenberg getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Philipp-Marc Ballik hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Marco Jazz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but J.J J.J. was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Marco Jazz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. J.J J.J. was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. J.J J.J. stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Jazz's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Marco Jazz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. J.J J.J. tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Jazz might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over J.J J.J.. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Jazz ran back to his position shaking his head. Andrea Bolognesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Horneber in the 31st minute of play. Marco Jazz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but J.J J.J. read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Andrea Bolognesi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Bakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Fernando de Sena in the 43rd minute. Berat Haliç was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Poniewaz in the 45th minute of play forced Jazz's goalkeeper Andrea Bolognesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. J.J J.J. came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Jazz's Marco Jazz. But to his dismay, Marco Jazz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugeniusz Poniewaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jazz's Nae Preda was substituted for Vittorio Mazzoni. After 73 played minutes Jazz got a freekick which was hit by Marco Jazz. Eugeniusz Poniewaz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sc Ajax Hirtenberg made a substitution. Magnus Wollberg replaced Osvaldo Lizer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Jazz in the 81st minute of play forced Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goalkeeper J.J J.J. to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
