Martin Rutsch scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Belmiro Negri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Rutsch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Negri having to interfere. Belmiro Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glenn Huez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Uetendorf Wanderers getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Juan Jesus hit a great ball. Belmiro Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Rutsch, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Romildo Binder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. David Aberle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 29 minutes into the match, MALAIA FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Rutsch came free, but Belmiro Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lubomír Meszároš could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but David Aberle made a huge save. Glenn Huez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zachary Pionek's late challenge caught a MALAIA FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zachary Pionek helped the player get up and apologised. Zachary Pionek hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match Uetendorf Wanderers got a corner. MALAIA FDFDF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zachary Pionek ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Martin Rutsch heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Glenn Huez to make the kick off. David Aberle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lubomír Meszároš in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Martin Rutsch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, MALAIA FDFDF's goalkeeper Belmiro Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glenn Huez. Thanks to some nice moves Glenn Huez could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Belmiro Negri however easily saved by the left post. In the 64th minute Romildo Binder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Aberle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MALAIA FDFDF were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Uetendorf Wanderers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vitinho Pontes took the corner. Giorgos Papaiakovou kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to MALAIA FDFDF getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Carlos Vianna hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. MALAIA FDFDF had won after a very even match.
