Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Matthias Bern kicked off to start the match. Matthias Bern who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Epifanio Havier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Zaldua in the 7th minute of play forced Club A. Independiente's goalkeeper Epifanio Havier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Matthias Bern dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Epifanio Havier, 1-0. Epifanio Havier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Jernberg in the 14th minute of the match. Epifanio Havier was a little too slow when Cléber Marinho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 3-0. Epifanio Havier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Bern, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Havier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Zaldua in the 20th minute of the match. When G A I S's Matthias Bern, in the 23rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for G A I S. Epifanio Havier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rafael Zaldua showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 24 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthias Bern got free with Epifanio Havier in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, John Jernberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Epifanio Havier, 5-0. In the 32nd minute, Matthias Bern made a precise shot to the right of Epifanio Havier. Club A. Independiente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Epifanio Havier made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Cléber Marinho sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Rafael Zaldua left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G A I S fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Cléber Marinho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 8-0 in the 39th playminute. John Jernberg took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Havier. Epifanio Havier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. In the 48th minute, John Jernberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Epifanio Havier was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herman Biörkman in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Havier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 56 minutes into the game, Rafael Zaldua cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Epifanio Havier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to G A I S getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alain Gibert hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Rafael Zaldua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Epifanio Havier was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. After 66th play minutes John Jernberg shot 13-0, a short shot which went by Epifanio Havier and just under the crossbar into goal. Epifanio Havier came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by G A I S's John Jernberg. But to his dismay, John Jernberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. Epifanio Havier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléber Marinho in the 74th minute of play. Rafael Zaldua took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Havier. Epifanio Havier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 15-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman Mabalane in the 81st minute of play forced Club A. Independiente's goalkeeper Epifanio Havier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Havier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Jernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes of play, G A I S's Rafael Zaldua made it 16-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Epifanio Havier was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, Rolando Victoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Havier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Jernberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 97th minute, Cléber Marinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G A I S fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 18-0.
