The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Vachon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Ciempa in the 33rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Witold Ciempa sped through Manfredi AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roman Vachon. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cremonese's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kieran Listkowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Manfredi AFC's players had a chance to rest. Manfredi AFC's Virgilio Tajo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jeremias Cruz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 44 minutes into the game, Cremonese's Witold Ciempa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Vachon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Witold Ciempa was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Manfredi AFC's Fausto Rafe made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremias Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manfredi AFC's Filomeno Remir was substituted for Ronald Ferenc. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Remir in the 65th minute of play forced Cremonese's goalkeeper Jeremias Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Mauro Rexino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Vachon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
