After 7 played minutes BK Södra got a freekick which was hit by Emil Ahlqvist. After a defensive mix-up in BK Södra's zone, Kauã Mandrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Totakoxe came out of the goal and Kauã Mandrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of BK Södra booed when Retumbante FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th match minute, Retumbante FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauã Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, BK Södra's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Décio Antonio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Christos Tzolis managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Södra's supporters rose to their feet, but Christos Tzolis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apat Reina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rickard Örnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rickard Örnberg in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apat Reina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rickard Örnberg in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apat Reina saved Retumbante FC from getting behind. In the 43rd minute Christos Tzolis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apat Reina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The BK Södra fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when BK Södra's Rickard Örnberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kauã Mandrak to make the kick off. A collision led to BK Södra getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rickard Örnberg hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Paulo Mendonça in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Totakoxe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rickard Örnberg got free with Apat Reina in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Holmgren in the 71st minute of play forced Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Apat Reina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BK Södra's Maximino Totakoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Décio Antonio in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Mendonça in the 77th minute of play forced BK Södra's goalkeeper Maximino Totakoxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kauã Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes Retumbante FC got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Galvão. BK Södra's Alf Lind was substituted for Christos Tzolis. Eurico Galvão hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Rickard Örnberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Apat Reina when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. BK Södra had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
