The audience was convinced that Nuno Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johan Lööf was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 10 minutes into the game, Portucale H5's Maximo Mikolas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johan Lööf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 14thth minute of the game Maximo Mikolas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Boys's Johan Lööf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. António Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giacomo Casanova in the 16th minute of play. La Boys were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Portucale H5's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alexander Biörling took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alexander Biörling got away a dangerous shot. Despite this António Pimenta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bernt Hedling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but António Pimenta made a huge save. Johan Lööf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximo Mikolas's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. António Pimenta made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Bernt Hedling sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, La Boys's Andrew Tate got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Barroso in the 35th minute of play forced La Boys's goalkeeper Johan Lööf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johan Lööf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Mikolas in the 39th minute of play. Bernt Hedling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but António Pimenta made a huge save. Bernt Hedling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Portucale H5 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Portucale H5 made a substitution. Amdi Hjortboe replaced Ivo Gusmão. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giacomo Casanova to make the kick off. Estevão Antas struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Johan Lööf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portucale H5. António Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Hedling in the 53rd minute of the match. The referee showed Filipe Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 75 minutes, Giacomo Casanova managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giacomo Casanova was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
