Paredes Soberano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardinho Passos made a kick off. Paredes Soberano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Ceresso in the 52nd minute of play. In the 70th minute, Bernardinho Passos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marciano Idacio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 77 minutes into the match, Leripe Lifestyle's goal looked a bit too open when Sabino Valverde came free, but Paredes Soberano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paredes Soberano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabino Valverde, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Franciszek Topolski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Idacio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Leripe Lifestyle's goalkeeper Paredes Soberano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sabino Valverde. In the 86th minute Pretorianos FC were awarded a corner. Santiago Valery went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Santiago Valery got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paredes Soberano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 89th minute Sabino Valverde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Soberano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Idacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Carlos Cervantes in the 91st minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pretorianos FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
