Béla Bíró made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Furia in the 7th minute of play. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Rafaela FC from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute Aurél Varsányi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Ikatz in the 16th minute of play forced PMFC 2018's goalkeeper Béla Bíró to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Rafaela FC's Ross Strong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Béla Bíró made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, PMFC 2018's Egon Kondor got a free kick in the 24th minute. PMFC 2018 made a substitution. Sándor Havass replaced Aurél Varsányi. PMFC 2018's Béla Bíró played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Ikatz in the 29th minute of play. Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in PMFC 2018's zone, Emiliano Furia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Béla Bíró came out of the goal and Emiliano Furia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteban Ikatz might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Béla Bíró. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esteban Ikatz ran back to his position shaking his head. Inocencio Veronica made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ahmet Nasir Başayoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Esteban Ikatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, PMFC 2018's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Daniele came free, but Béla Bíró reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Nasir Başayoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Rafaela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Furia to maneuver through the defense. Esteban Ikatz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Béla Bíró made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Esteban Ikatz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafaela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Ikatz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Béla Bíró breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64thth minute of the game Ahmet Nasir Başayoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Esteban Ikatz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Béla Bíró made a huge save. 72 minutes into the match, Rafaela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Nasir Başayoğlu came free, but Inocencio Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, PMFC 2018's goalkeeper Béla Bíró had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Ikatz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ross Strong in the 90th minute of play forced PMFC 2018's goalkeeper Béla Bíró to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute of the match, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Béla Bíró saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The attack was good, but when Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 92nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Ahmet Nasir Başayoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
