The audience thought a goal was coming when Xabat Acedo got free with Lia Saez in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the game, SC Night Cats's Xabat Acedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lia Saez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Los romperredes F.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Stefan Halbich 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xabat Acedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Los romperredes F.C's zone, Victor Wilbois stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lia Saez came out of the goal and Victor Wilbois tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 53 minutes, Stefan Halbich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Night Cats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Halbich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lia Saez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xabat Acedo's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Kaiet Carballeira hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Berthold Wüsthoff struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Lia Saez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Night Cats. Lia Saez came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Night Cats's Xabat Acedo. But to his dismay, Xabat Acedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Joseph Brinkmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lia Saez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joseph Brinkmann ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd minute, Anaia Encina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xabat Acedo in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lia Saez saved Los romperredes F.C from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Xabat Acedo put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lia Saez. In the 68th minute Stefan Halbich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lia Saez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xabat Acedo took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lia Saez. Lia Saez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-1. In the 92nd match minute, Los romperredes F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaskon Mayor to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes, SC Night Cats's Berthold Wüsthoff shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lia Saez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Night Cats reached it. Lia Saez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xabat Acedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
