Carl Burley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Carl Burley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Herring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Joe Herring made a precise shot to the right of Carl Burley. Quinnys Disco Pants's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Carl Burley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joe Herring in the 22nd minute. Joe Herring might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carl Burley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joe Herring ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the game, Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carl Burley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. With a little luck, Quinnys Disco Pants's Carl Burley got control of the ball when Yuan Wei Han tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Quinnys Disco Pants booed when Valencia C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Claydon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Joe Herring came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Valencia C.F. fans jumped to their feet. Carl Burley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Herring, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luizão de Brito came free, but Jerry Lodge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Adam Harding got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valencia C.F.'s Tuncay Candeğer was substituted for Alfred Claydon. 89 minutes into the game, Valencia C.F.'s Florentin Gougeon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carl Burley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After 92 minutes of play, Valencia C.F.'s Florentin Gougeon made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carl Burley was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Valencia C.F. fully deserved thier win.
