Mané Lara took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Rito. Cayetano Rito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mané Lara scored 0-2 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Rito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joinville United - FSCMZ's attentive Fernando Vale managed to snatch the ball when Enrique Falcão made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. Mané Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Rito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Paulopolis's zone, Mané Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Rito came out of the goal and Mané Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Paulopolis defense, Mané Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Rito. The Paulopolis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Rito should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute Mané Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Mané Lara made a precise shot to the right of Cayetano Rito. Paulopolis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 32 minutes in the game, Mané Lara dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Paulopolis's zone, Mané Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Rito came out of the goal and Mané Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cayetano Rito came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara. But to his dismay, Mané Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 41st minute, Prospero Perfecto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Lara in the 43rd minute of play forced Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dieguinho Amaral made a kick off. Mané Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Mané Lara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cayetano Rito. The goal made the score 0-7. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Maurício Donatello was substituted for Mané Lara. Lennart Khan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Cayetano Rito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício Donatello in the 77th minute of play forced Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Cayetano Rito threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maurício Donatello, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 79thth minute of the game Maurício Donatello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alesandro Coutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Cayetano Rito made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, Pinchas Man made a precise shot to the right of Cayetano Rito. Paulopolis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alesandro Coutinho in the 87th minute of play forced Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayetano Rito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurício Donatello's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Cayetano Rito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurício Donatello in the 90th minute. A collision led to Paulopolis getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. George Smitt hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Maurício Donatello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cayetano Rito was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alesandro Coutinho got free with Cayetano Rito in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito got control of the ball when Alesandro Coutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line.
