Janusze Futbolu:s Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed great skill when he stopped Prospero Perfecto:s penalty. Claudio Caniglia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Gruchacz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mané Lara made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Janusze Futbolu's goalkeeper Peter-Michael Schmeichel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolás Tagliafico in the 60th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Borys Gruchacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Lennart Khan was substituted for Didi Cardozo. Janusze Futbolu's Eugeniusz Osowski was substituted for Kapiton Bomba. Joinville United - FSCMZ made a substitution.
