Wesley Toscano's late challenge caught a Paulopolis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dieguinho Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Nico Pizzi made a huge save. SELEVASCO's Renato Paraíba got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, SELEVASCO's goalkeeper Nico Pizzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruy Carneiro. Dieguinho Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nico Pizzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dieguinho Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Queirós in the 32nd minute of play. Cayetano Rito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cãtãlin Hâldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 37 minutes, Patrick Cunha made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cãtãlin Hâldan in the 39th minute of the match. Cayetano Rito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cayetano Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Paraíba in the 41st minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, SELEVASCO's goalkeeper Nico Pizzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Paulo Sabóia. Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Paulopolis from getting a goal against them. Cayetano Rito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cãtãlin Hâldan in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Patrick Cunha could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Cayetano Rito however easily saved by the left post. Xavier Van Dijk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Cayetano Rito made a huge save. Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Paulopolis from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the game, Cãtãlin Hâldan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cayetano Rito. Cãtãlin Hâldan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. With a little luck, Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito got control of the ball when Patrick Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute Xavier Van Dijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renato Paraíba was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Patrick Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Cayetano Rito made a huge save. SELEVASCO played a much better game than Paulopolis and deserved their victory. The Paulopolis players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
