In the 9th minute, Dwight Schrute hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Lukács Madaras dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hendrik-Jan Krommert, 1-0. When Flashdynamica's Barry Zalm in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ARAUCARIA FC's goalie prevented a goal. Oséias Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Zalm in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Brain Veldman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flashdynamica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ARAUCARIA FC the free kick. After 22 played minutes Flashdynamica got a freekick which was hit by Brain Veldman. In the 22nd minute of the match Gustavo Couto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hendrik-Jan Krommert skillfully saved the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Flashdynamica's Barry Zalm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oséias Fantini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 42nd minute Lukács Madaras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik-Jan Krommert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paulão da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Flashdynamica's Koen Poels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oséias Fantini narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lukács Madaras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59thth minute of the game Barry Zalm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARAUCARIA FC's Oséias Fantini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Zalm in the 61st minute of play forced ARAUCARIA FC's goalkeeper Oséias Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Flashdynamica's Barry Zalm in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Flashdynamica's protests and gave Barry Zalm a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Flashdynamica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Zalm to maneuver through the defense. After 76 minutes, Dwight Schrute mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flashdynamica and the ARAUCARIA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Flashdynamica's Dwight Schrute got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 83rd minute, Edgard Veldkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
