Hílton Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Mendiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Pity 31 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iker Mendiko made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Iker Mendiko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hílton Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Iker Mendiko charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iker Mendiko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iker Mendiko hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Makis Kasmiris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Magalhães having to interfere. In the 61st minute Iker Mendiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Iker Mendiko sped through Botinho FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hílton Magalhães. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Sá in the 69th minute of play forced Pity 31's goalkeeper Leon Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Botinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Mendiko came free, but Hílton Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Botinho FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Makis Kasmiris fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Botinho FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pity 31's performance. The match ended with a win for Pity 31.
