After a defensive mix-up in MORPH's zone, Cortez Ibern stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Mambru came out of the goal and Cortez Ibern tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Paulo Eguen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of René Vignal. Miguir's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Eguen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After having played for 17 minutes, Paulo Eguen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MORPH's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Eguen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Miguir's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Eguen came free, but René Vignal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguir's René Vignal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Eguen in the 26th minute of play. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save MORPH from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Carel Rokeloos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in MORPH's zone, Macías Botello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Mambru came out of the goal and Macías Botello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MORPH's Ivan Gil managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cesar Artigue in the 42 minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Javier Iruegas hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. René Vignal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Eguen in the 58th minute. Paulo Eguen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but René Vignal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Miguir booed when MORPH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carel Rokeloos didn't get a good kick on the ball. MORPH made a substitution. Guido Lorencio replaced Delmar Udalaitz. A collision led to MORPH getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Carel Rokeloos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cortez Ibern in the 72nd minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Melquiades Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to MORPH getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Anastasio Lluques hit a great ball. René Vignal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Eguen in the 79th minute of the match. Carel Rokeloos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carel Rokeloos in the 93rd minute of play forced Miguir's goalkeeper René Vignal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. René Vignal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Lorencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded MORPH left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Miguir.
