Francisco Infante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 13th minute Anselmo Domingos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiliam Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wiliam Simão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herberto Caiado's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Anselmo Domingos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas de Brito in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Bruno do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Barroso in the 24th minute of play forced Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Wiliam Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacob Barroso took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wiliam Simão. Wiliam Simão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Wiliam Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Aleso got free with Francisco Infante in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Aleso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Francisco Infante made a huge save. Francisco Infante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silas de Brito in the 37th minute. Francisco Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Aleso in the 39th minute of the match. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Tiago Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Carlos Palmeira made a precise shot to the right of Wiliam Simão. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Francisco Infante was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Silas de Brito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silas de Brito really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Aleso was the one to do the kick off. Lima Team's Francisco Infante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Aleso in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Lima Team's goal looked a bit too open when Silas de Brito came free, but Francisco Infante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes, Horácio Sobral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lima Team and the Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Horácio Sobral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Aleso in the 64th minute of play forced Lima Team's goalkeeper Francisco Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Infante came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Juan Aleso. But to his dismay, Juan Aleso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Jacob Barroso hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ made a substitution. Jailson Domingues replaced Artur de Andrade. The supporters of Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ booed when Lima Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacob Barroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Aleso in the 75th minute of play. Juan Aleso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Francisco Infante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Juan Aleso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wiliam Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
