When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Albi Martínez sped through Forest Green's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabio Totakoxe. In the 32nd minute Waldemar Ryback shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Totakoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldemar Rybacks short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Fabio Totakoxe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Albi Martínez scored 3-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Totakoxe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albi Martínez in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Totakoxe saved Forest Green from getting behind. The supporters of Forest Green booed when City Friseur Wuppertal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Stegaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldemar Ryback stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florentino Piarres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Xu Yi Lei made a huge save. Fabio Totakoxe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albi Martínez went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Albi Martínez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fabio Totakoxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Forest Green's Fabio Totakoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Ryback in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Hüseyin Rahmi Uçanok notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Forest Green's Fabio Totakoxe. Fabio Totakoxe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. City Friseur Wuppertal's Cem Yılğıralp was substituted for Mehmet Oğuz Bayramoğlu.
