Xu Yi Lei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Budzyn in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, City Friseur Wuppertal's Waldemar Ryback nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brak Gola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Reşat Orgunalp took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xu Yi Lei. Xu Yi Lei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With an all-out effort, Underdogs's Xu Yi Lei threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andrzej Budzyn, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Brak Gola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Ryback in the 22nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albi Martínez in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brak Gola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brak Gola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albi Martínez in the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albi Martínez in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brak Gola saved Underdogs from getting behind. City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save City Friseur Wuppertal from getting a goal against them. City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Okopny in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Underdogs's zone, Avram Stegaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brak Gola came out of the goal and Avram Stegaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xu Yi Lei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 41st minute of the match. Tarkan Ushan kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Andrzej Budzyn sped through City Friseur Wuppertal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xu Yi Lei.

City Friseur Wuppertal's Nebi Tokyürek was substituted for Avram Stegaru. City Friseur Wuppertal made a substitution. Edwin Vestlund replaced Tarkan Ushan. When Edwin Vestlund fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored City Friseur Wuppertal's protests and gave Edwin Vestlund a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes City Friseur Wuppertal got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Vestlund. City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 66th minute of play. Xu Yi Lei came out of the goal and Apostolis Arvanitoyannis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xu Yi Lei came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Underdogs's Borys Okopny. But to his dismay, Borys Okopny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. The supporters of Underdogs booed when City Friseur Wuppertal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Ibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Underdogs had won after a very even match.
