The referee ignored Merceron United's protests and gave Anthony Catapano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Outlaws FC booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Catapano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Outlaws FC's Vefa Doğay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Fernandez in the 30th minute of play. Daniele Bucciarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Batista in the 31st minute of play. Vefa Doğay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Fernandez in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Edoardo Pascucci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vefa Doğay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 40 minutes into the match, Outlaws FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Lusi came free, but Vefa Doğay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Li Shi Xiang charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Li Shi Xiang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The wind increased when Mané Batista made the kick off in the second half. Daniele Bucciarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Roman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Merceron United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mané Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniele Bucciarelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mané Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Outlaws FC defense, Edoardo Pascucci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vefa Doğay. The Outlaws FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vefa Doğay should have stopped the shot. Daniele Bucciarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vukašin Kastratović in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match Outlaws FC got a corner. Merceron United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vukašin Kastratović ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gennaro Gattuso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli did a great save. Outlaws FC's Piotr Bielejewski was substituted for Călin Roman.
