The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adrian Bobeanu succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Attilio Ferri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Bobeanu in the 6th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, MACCARESE GIA.DA.'s goal looked a bit too open when Şota Arveladze came free, but Attilio Ferri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, MACCARESE GIA.DA.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adrian Bobeanu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Adrian Bobeanu put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Attilio Ferri. 26 minutes into the game, Olympique Gdynia's Adrian Bobeanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Attilio Ferri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. If Şota Arveladze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Tirso Isasaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, MACCARESE GIA.DA.'s Fortunato Di Claudio got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The Olympique Gdynia fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Olympique Gdynia's Adrian Bobeanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Olympique Gdynia booed when MACCARESE GIA.DA. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Mauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. MACCARESE GIA.DA.'s Attilio Ferri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Bobeanu in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, MACCARESE GIA.DA. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis De Gregorio to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Bobeanu made a kick off. Charles Darwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute Anthony Mauro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 56 minutes into the game, Adrian Bobeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympique Gdynia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MACCARESE GIA.DA. the free kick. MACCARESE GIA.DA.'s Eugenio Teodori was substituted for Anthony Mauro. Adrian Bobeanu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Şota Arveladze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Attilio Ferri was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Attilio Ferri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Bobeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Attilio Ferri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Bobeanu in the 69th minute of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Adrian Bobeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MACCARESE GIA.DA.'s Attilio Ferri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Bobeanu in the 72nd minute of play forced MACCARESE GIA.DA.'s goalkeeper Attilio Ferri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attilio Ferri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Bobeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MACCARESE GIA.DA. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Fortunato Di Claudio hit a great ball. In the 78th minute of the match Olympique Gdynia got a corner. MACCARESE GIA.DA.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabio-Roman Zabaleta ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Olympique Gdynia's corner Adrian Bobeanu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Attilio Ferri quite easily take care of the ball. Tirso Isasaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Attilio Ferri came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Gdynia's Fabio-Roman Zabaleta. But to his dismay, Fabio-Roman Zabaleta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 88th minute, Tirso Isasaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique Gdynia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. 94 minutes into the game, Jurand Frankowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Attilio Ferri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
