The throw-in from József Varga in the 2nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Desportivo Coala's Pedro Luís da Rocha. 7 minutes into the match, Tivadar Demeter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Astor Hug, 1-0. Ronalds McDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnold Szuper having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Bai Jun Chong got a free kick in the 18th minute. Tivadar Demeter scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Astor Hug, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tivadar Demeter in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Astor Hug prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Tivadar Demeter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Astor Hug. Desportivo Coala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tivadar Demeter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Rodrigo Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Hug made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 43 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goal looked a bit too open when Tivadar Demeter came free, but Astor Hug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnold Szuper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Tivadar Demeter made the kick off in the second half. Astor Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tivadar Demeter in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goal looked a bit too open when Tivadar Demeter came free, but Astor Hug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronalds McDonald. Desportivo Coala's Astor Hug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lei Jian Xiong in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Szombathely Squirrels had won after a very even match.
