In the 7th match minute, Björkö BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Sundling to maneuver through the defense. Tião Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Prishtina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Strömqvist came free, but Hickey Dunne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hickey Dunne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Friberger, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Conrao in the 22nd minute of play forced Björkö BK's goalkeeper Mariusz Zdeb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tosun Manjani got free with Mariusz Zdeb in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 26 minutes, Gilvan Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prishtina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilvan Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Conrao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Mariusz Zdeb made a huge save. Björkö BK's Mariusz Zdeb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boiken Juniku in the 34th minute of play. The throw-in from Xhenit Hysa in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Björkö BK's Jakub Kornecki. Mariusz Zdeb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tosun Manjani in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timmy Friberger made a kick off. In the 54th minute Donato Conrao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariusz Zdeb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Björkö BK booed when Prishtina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xhenit Hysa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Ersan Genç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
