Fermin Basajaun came out of the goal and Gilberto dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermin Basajaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Tróia in the 62nd minute of the match. Luiz Eduardo Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fermin Basajaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Iván Zamorano was substituted for Luiz Eduardo Tróia. CeciForEver's Fermin Basajaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iván Zamorano in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to CeciForEver getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Valentin Costante hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, CeciForEver's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Zamorano came free, but Fermin Basajaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Many of CeciForEver's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. CeciForEver may have spent more time on the ball, but Caskinha Esporte Clube were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
