Peter Roofhoof took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guga de Azevedo. Guga de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Xandeco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Will Wipp came free, but Guga de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joonatan Van Landewijck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Xandeco FC's goalkeeper Guga de Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guga de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joonatan Van Landewijck, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Guga de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joonatan Van Landewijck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
