The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Gabriel Gaufred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Ongile came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by ACF Fiorentina's Hernán Leandro. But to his dismay, Hernán Leandro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Bengt-Rune Fastesson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rodrigo Ongile was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 9 minutes into the match, Funebrero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Rune Fastesson came free, but Rodrigo Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Suarez charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Javier Suarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Funebrero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Suarez to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Miccio in the 14th minute of play. Rodrigo Ongile stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Rune Fastesson's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Bengt-Rune Fastesson put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rodrigo Ongile. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Miccio in the 22nd minute of play forced Funebrero FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Funebrero FC defense, Enzo Miccio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Ongile. The Funebrero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Ongile should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Enzo Miccio made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Ongile. Funebrero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Rodrigo Ongile stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enzo Miccio's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. ACF Fiorentina's Federico Kalinowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Valiente in the 35th minute of play. Rodrigo Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernán Leandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Gabriel Gaufred cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Rodrigo Ongile was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

Rodrigo Ongile came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by ACF Fiorentina's Bengt-Rune Fastesson. Rodrigo Ongile was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Hernán Leandro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hernán Leandro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. ACF Fiorentina made a substitution. Hildeberto Carvalho replaced Bengt-Rune Fastesson. ACF Fiorentina's Saturnino Michael was substituted for Hernán Leandro. When Maximino Cabezon came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the ACF Fiorentina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Cabezon couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Gaufred could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Rodrigo Ongile made a huge save. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 0-11 when Horia Anisie sped through Funebrero FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodrigo Ongile. 69 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's Saturnino Michael sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Ongile narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodrigo Ongile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Gaufred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Maximino Cabezon made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Ongile. Funebrero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. Eulalio Guillem charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Hildeberto Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the ACF Fiorentina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hildeberto Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Funebrero FC's Rodrigo Ongile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Funebrero FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Maximino Cabezon took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Rodrigo Ongile to make any attempt to save it. Funebrero FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Maximino Cabezon scored to the left of an out of position Rodrigo Ongile, making the score, 0-15. When the final whistle sounded ACF Fiorentina left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Funebrero FC.
