In the 9th minute, Kärim Benzine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felipe Ekaitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Kärim Benzine kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Berni y Benja FC's Olle Carlsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felipe Ekaitz. Felipe Ekaitz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Talleres's goalkeeper Felipe Ekaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Arce. 21 minutes into the game, Torrey Matthews cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Amancio Videl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgardo Arce scored 3-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Ekaitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felipe Ekaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kärim Benzine, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Felipe Ekaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kärim Benzine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kärim Benzine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Felipe Ekaitz made a huge save. Edgardo Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Felipe Ekaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Arce in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Ekaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Berni y Benja FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Steve Wonder was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Talleres's players had a chance to rest. Ubaldo Ponciano kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Erasmo Gonzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Talleres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berni y Benja FC the free kick. Erasmo Gonzo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atlético Talleres! Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Amancio Videl successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Felipe Ekaitz came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Berni y Benja FC's Kärim Benzine. But to his dismay, Kärim Benzine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Berni y Benja FC made a substitution. Norberto Fero replaced Ramiro Sanson. Amancio Videl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulryk Nakoneczny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Talleres's Felipe Ekaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kärim Benzine in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute Olle Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Ekaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes Club Atlético Talleres's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Doğuhan Işıklar who took care of the corner kick. Mauro Boni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Felipe Ekaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Club Atlético Talleres getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Steve Wonder hit a great ball. Felipe Ekaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Boni in the 88th minute of play. Felipe Ekaitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Boni went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. The Berni y Benja FC fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Berni y Benja FC's Mauro Boni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tião Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Videl having to make a save.
