Swift GTi were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Elegance Dijon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gery Puttemas took the corner. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Elegance Dijon's Dave Rinaldi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Elegance Dijon from getting a goal against them. In the 18th match minute, Elegance Dijon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mamadou Forte to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Beşir Sehrud got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Gery Puttemas fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Swift GTi's protests and gave Gery Puttemas a yellow card for diving instead. 21 minutes into the match, Swift GTi's goal looked a bit too open when Fabien Cantin came free, but Jonathan Joestar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes Swift GTi got a freekick which was hit by Panda Feliz. Jonathan Joestar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Minaud in the 26th minute of play. Dave Rinaldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xie Chuan in the 32nd minute of the match. Beşir Sehrud might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dave Rinaldi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beşir Sehrud ran back to his position shaking his head. If Stéphane Gaudy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Swift GTi's goal looked a bit too open when Stéphane Gaudy came free, but Jonathan Joestar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabien Cantin in the 45th minute of play forced Swift GTi's goalkeeper Jonathan Joestar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Joško Gvardiol put in a rough tackle. In the 44th minute, one of Swift GTi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Swift GTi. 47 minutes into the game, Elegance Dijon's Christian Minaud nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Joestar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabien Cantin to make the kick off. Jonathan Joestar made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Christian Minaud sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Joestar came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Elegance Dijon's Fabien Cantin. But to his dismay, Fabien Cantin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Jonathan Joestar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabien Cantin in the 86th minute of the match. After 87 minutes Swift GTi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stéphane Gaudy who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Elegance Dijon getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Bryan Krafft hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Bryan Krafft fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Swift GTi's Zhuang Xi Xi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
