Zenon Niezywy came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Boiro's Eustaquio Turi. But to his dismay, Eustaquio Turi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Fryderyk Motowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Perico Raya having to make a save. If Fryderyk Motowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zenon Niezywy made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when John Palomar sent off a good shot on target. After 26 minutes, Andoitz Arias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Boiro and the FC Kraków1983 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in CD Boiro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! In the 27th minute there was a penalty for FC Kraków1983. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radomil Mentis in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Perico Raya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fryderyk Motowski scored 1-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Perico Raya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fryderyk Motowski to strike the kick off in the second half.
