Derlis Florentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximo Villamarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Phil Porter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Maximo Villamarin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Reign's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Villamarin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phil Porter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nial Messenger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Dawid Ratulowski made a huge save. The FC LIVERPOOL fans cheered their team off the field, for while Red Reign had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
