In the 23rd minute, Pere Montaña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, FC LIVERPOOL's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Nunes came free, but Phil Porter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match MaLe FC got a corner. FC LIVERPOOL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After some careless play in the MaLe FC defense, Ashley Wiseman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Alén. The MaLe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Alén should have stopped the shot. Phil Porter made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Arixo Urbiso sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umberto Nunes made a kick off. FC LIVERPOOL's Ursus Martin got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 52nd match minute, MaLe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Myr to maneuver through the defense. Joel Alén made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Pere Montaña sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pere Montaña got free with Joel Alén in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd minute, Umberto Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batuhan Yılmaz struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Joel Alén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC LIVERPOOL. Joel Alén was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Fred Santos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fred Santos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Batuhan Yılmaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Alén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Batuhan Yılmaz ran back to his position shaking his head. MaLe FC's Joel Alén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Santos in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Umberto Nunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Phil Porter. FC LIVERPOOL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Umberto Nunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. 81 minutes into the match, MaLe FC's goalkeeper Joel Alén had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pere Montaña.
