Xu Zheng Zhou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leoverliz Barrutia in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute Leoverliz Barrutia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xu Zheng Zhou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Villamarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xu Zheng Zhou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Villamarin ran back to his position shaking his head. COLLEGNO F.C.'s Xu Zheng Zhou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Villamarin in the 12th minute of play. Maximo Villamarin struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Xu Zheng Zhou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Reign. In the 20th minute Fabian Cerdeño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xu Zheng Zhou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Villamarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xu Zheng Zhou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Villamarin ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the game, Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xu Zheng Zhou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Maximo Villamarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xu Zheng Zhou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Villamarin ran back to his position shaking his head. Xu Zheng Zhou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 37th minute of the match, Oliver Giroud got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dawid Ratulowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Carlo Arpaia's late challenge caught a Red Reign's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlo Arpaia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, COLLEGNO F.C.'s Carlo Arpaia got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Maximo Villamarin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xu Zheng Zhou was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After the first half Red Reign were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Red Reign's Armando Hera managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Achille Villa in the 51 minute of the game. 53 minutes into the match, COLLEGNO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Villamarin came free, but Xu Zheng Zhou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Red Reign made a substitution. Ismael Blanco replaced Xosepe Villamizar. Red Reign's Pablo Beloso was substituted for Ximun Jaen. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximo Villamarin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xu Zheng Zhou. That made the score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Maximo Villamarin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Xu Zheng Zhou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. COLLEGNO F.C. were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Red Reign's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oliver Giroud took the corner. The corner led COLLEGNO F.C.'s Oliver Giroud to fire away a dangerous shot which Dawid Ratulowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Xu Zheng Zhou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 74th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Maximo Villamarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 90 played minutes Red Reign got a freekick which was hit by Derlis Florentin. Fabian Cerdeño struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Xu Zheng Zhou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Reign. The Red Reign supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Red Reign would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
