The RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radowit Chrzan should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 23 in the game by Andrzej Domaracki from a close distance when the talented Ryszard Lerych managed to make a qualified save. POLONIA BYTOM's players were relieved. Andrzej Domaracki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Ryszard Lerych when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Zdzislaw Sroka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radowit Chrzan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The audience was convinced that Andrzej Domaracki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ryszard Lerych was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Daniel Chazen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ryszard Lerych tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Bartosz Kiepski notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's Radowit Chrzan. Radowit Chrzan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute, Bartosz Kiepski made a precise shot to the right of Radowit Chrzan. RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 41 minutes into the match, RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's goal looked a bit too open when Mateusz Damazki came free, but Radowit Chrzan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's Bogumil Marchefka got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After the first half POLONIA BYTOM were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrzej Domaracki to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrzej Domaracki in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ryszard Lerych saved POLONIA BYTOM from getting behind. The supporters of POLONIA BYTOM booed when RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Sadlowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kacper Radziszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Mateusz Damazki did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-8 to the left of a surprised Radowit Chrzan 77 minutes into the match. When POLONIA BYTOM's Mateusz Damazki in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Andrzej Domaracki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ryszard Lerych read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Leon Gabis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Radowit Chrzan came out and tried to block the shot, but Leon Gabis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 82nd minute. In the 85th match minute, POLONIA BYTOM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Grabowicz to maneuver through the defense. RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alfred Grabowicz 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-10. Olgierd Matela struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ryszard Lerych didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA. In the 93rdth minute of the game Leon Gabis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's Radowit Chrzan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bogumil Marchefka's late challenge caught a POLONIA BYTOM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bogumil Marchefka helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, RKS CZĘSTOCHOWA's Bogumil Marchefka got a free kick in the 96th minute. POLONIA BYTOM's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
