When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jerónimo Furtado sped through Borussia Ostermoordorf's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Burkhard Kofler. Burkhard Kofler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. União Sport Clube Paredes's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Dulson in the 26th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Borussia Ostermoordorf's goal looked a bit too open when Jerónimo Furtado came free, but Burkhard Kofler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Burkhard Kofler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burkhard Kofler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Szczepanowski in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute Xu Jing Xun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute Dabi Saens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burkhard Kofler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hanjo Cyrkel made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Leopoldo Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. União Sport Clube Paredes's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Burkhard Kofler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hanjo Cyrkel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin van der Sar having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Jakub Szczepanowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Burkhard Kofler, 0-2. A collision led to Borussia Ostermoordorf getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Tomáš Szedlák hit a great ball. Alexandre Santana came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Burkhard Kofler could save by the left post. In the 66th minute, Alexandre Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Burkhard Kofler made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Alexandre Santana sent off a good shot on target. Tomáš Szedlák's late challenge caught a União Sport Clube Paredes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomáš Szedlák helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Borussia Ostermoordorf's Tomáš Szedlák got a free kick in the 69th minute. Xu Jing Xun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. União Sport Clube Paredes made a substitution. Horia Taşcu replaced Dabi Saens. 77 minutes into the match, Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalkeeper Burkhard Kofler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Santana. 80 minutes into the match, Alexandre Santana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Burkhard Kofler. Borussia Ostermoordorf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Santana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Hanjo Cyrkel struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Edwin van der Sar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Ostermoordorf. Jerónimo Furtado took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Burkhard Kofler. Burkhard Kofler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Borussia Ostermoordorf's Burkhard Kofler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Gaxan in the 87th minute of play. Burkhard Kofler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Szczepanowski in the 90th minute of play. The Borussia Ostermoordorf fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. União Sport Clube Paredes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
