With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orfilio Orbañanos in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilbur Hyde saved El Canalla de Chicago from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Orfilio Orbañanos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilbur Hyde was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save U. de Tarapacá from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Emmanuel Lockhart almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa did a great save. But to his dismay, Orfilio Orbañanos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orfilio Orbañanos made a kick off. Wilbur Hyde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orfilio Orbañanos in the 51st minute. Wilfred Noel got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hugo Hubbard. After 55 played minutes El Canalla de Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Wilfred Noel. In the 57th minute, Wilfred Noel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Domingo Barcena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domingo Barcena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 73 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Barcena came free, but Wilbur Hyde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Heers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Wilbur Hyde made a huge save. In the 78th minute Armando Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Balboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 minutes of play, El Canalla de Chicago's Armando Leobardo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ariel Balboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! A throw-in in the 81st minute of the game was made by Carlo Greenberg with Justin Raines as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. El Canalla de Chicago's Wilbur Hyde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Barcena in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Barcena came free, but Wilbur Hyde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes, Nathan Shannon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Canalla de Chicago and the U. de Tarapacá players grew even worse after the yellow card. León Philippi, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, El Canalla de Chicago's Emmanuel Lockhart got a free kick in the 91st minute. U. de Tarapacá's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
