With his leg Ivo Guterres managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when DJK Füchtel Vechta's Ovidiu Poenaru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gerold Zollt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abílio Passos in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 played minutes SC Freiburg 09 got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Ferit İsmet. In the 31st minute, David Martínez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Matthieu Richardot got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthieu Richardot in the 83rd minute of play forced SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 89 minutes into the game, when Humberto Carmo put in a rough tackle. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Mauro Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivo Guterres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Poenaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Poenaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ivo Guterres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. DJK Füchtel Vechta had played much better football throughout.
