The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Gianluigi Buffon got control of the ball when Roberto Lewandowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jesús Martín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maksymilian Oliszewski having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

SMOCZANKA MIELEC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
