The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Kieca made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Esteban Ikatz sent off a good shot on target. Russówek's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Kieca, making the score, 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Gregorio Montez made a precise shot to the right of Inocencio Veronica. Rafaela FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 26th minute Gregorio Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocencio Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Montez in the 28th minute of the match. Inocencio Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Montez in the 31st minute of play. Daniel Kieca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Daniele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Russówek got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Montez. The supporters of Russówek booed when Rafaela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Daniele didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Russówek's Gregorio Montez in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rafaela FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute Ross Strong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Kieca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregorio Montez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Russówek's Gregorio Montez got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Ross Strong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Russówek's Jakub Gdowski was substituted for Gregorio Montez. Ross Strong kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica got control of the ball when Jakub Gdowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jakub Gdowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Inocencio Veronica. That made the score 1-2 in the 69 minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Russówek's Jakub Gdowski made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inocencio Veronica was left in no man's land by his defense there! Russówek made a substitution. Ryszard Skonieczny replaced Salvador Quezada. Rafaela FC made a substitution. Ubaldo Lluis replaced Basilio Guillerme. In the 83rd minute Ryszard Skonieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocencio Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Zabrzeski in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Skonieczny in the 86th minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryszard Skonieczny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Inocencio Veronica made a huge save. Edward Traczewski kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo Daniele in the 93rd minute of play forced Russówek's goalkeeper Daniel Kieca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Esteban Ikatz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafaela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Ikatz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Kieca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inocencio Veronica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbigniew Zabrzeski in the 96th minute. The Russówek players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
