Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulo Godoi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanasis Papadimitriou was a little too slow when Paulo Godoi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. 5 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thanasis Papadimitriou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Enrique Treviño got a free kick in the 6th minute. Paulo Godoi took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thanasis Papadimitriou. Thanasis Papadimitriou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 11th match minute, Palestra do Interior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyisana Mnisi to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Alberto Jaen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Allan Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Thanasis Papadimitriou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 吴洲坚 in the 20th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Enrique Treviño in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Palestra do Interior's Ernani Velasco. When Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanasis Papadimitriou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Paulo Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thanasis Papadimitriou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. If Paulo Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Thanasis Papadimitriou got control of the ball when Paulo Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After the first half GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Paulo Godoi scored 3-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thanasis Papadimitriou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute, Paulo Godoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thanasis Papadimitriou was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. With a little luck, Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela got control of the ball when Gottfrid Kjellbom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jens-Ove Backlund kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ove Backlund to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Jaen came free, but Allan Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Jaen in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute Vitório Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Papadimitriou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Enrique Treviño fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s protests and gave Enrique Treviño a yellow card for diving instead. 84 minutes into the game, Vitório Lago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Thanasis Papadimitriou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Vitório Lago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thanasis Papadimitriou was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Gottfrid Kjellbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Allan Varela made a huge save.
