The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Oğuztan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Răzvan Jităreanu. 15 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Goodman came free, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Răzvan Jităreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Villa Verde FC's Durval Leão seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Durval Leão the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Villa Verde FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Durval Leão had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 22nd minute, one of Villa Verde FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Villa Verde FC. The referee gave Arrecifes a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cirilo Ritchie, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Villa Verde FC's Feng Chao Wei. 0-1. A very nice done corner allowed Carlos Eufrasio to score against Feng Chao Wei in Villa Verde FC's goal. 0-2 after 29 minutes. In the 35th minute of the match Arrecifes got a corner. Villa Verde FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Modesto Gipuzkoa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Carlos Eufrasio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cirilo Ritchie in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feng Chao Wei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Kevin De Bruyne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feng Chao Wei was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The Villa Verde FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arrecifes were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saul Goodman made a kick off. After 61 played minutes Villa Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Basso. Villa Verde FC made a substitution. Luís Guilherme Cearense replaced Saul Goodman. Villa Verde FC's Belmiro Borges was substituted for Pelayo Mendez. Arrecifes's Hipolito Laurendi was substituted for Natanael Matorin. Felipe Senon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feng Chao Wei having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Senon got free with Feng Chao Wei in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Felipe Senon took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Feng Chao Wei to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Villa Verde FC defense, Felipe Senon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feng Chao Wei. The Villa Verde FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feng Chao Wei should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute Felipe Senon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feng Chao Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Vigil made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Villa Verde FC's Du Yue Yun. The supporters of Arrecifes booed when Villa Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Du Yue Yun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Senon in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feng Chao Wei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Felipe Senon made a precise shot to the right of Feng Chao Wei. Villa Verde FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. In the 94th minute Luís Guilherme Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Arrecifes's Felipe Senon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. The Arrecifes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
