Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Guido Vissenaeken kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Mati Magen came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AMLUCHO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jackie Banks in the 6th minute. Selahaddin Esentürk made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Guido Vissenaeken sent off a good shot on target. After 13 minutes of play, AMLUCHO's Mati Magen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vítor Baia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brugge United's Vítor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mati Magen in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to AMLUCHO getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Vasco Gaspar hit a great ball. Guido Vissenaeken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Selahaddin Esentürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe was substituted for Guido Vissenaeken. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mati Magen to make the kick off. Selahaddin Esentürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnauld Van Impe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnauld Van Impe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Mati Magen managed to get in a good position for a shot. AMLUCHO's supporters rose to their feet, but Mati Magen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Baia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Arnauld Van Impe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Selahaddin Esentürk was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. AMLUCHO were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Brugge United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jackie Banks took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Brugge United's goalie and right to Miguel Vilarinho. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Brugge United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
