After 15 played minutes Albardón F.C got a freekick which was hit by Léo Simão. In the 16th minute, Celedonio Rafe sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Albardón F.C's Geronimo Eleazar didn't even have to move. In a very dangerous position, a player in Albardón F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! 20 minutes into the game, Celedonio Rafe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Geronimo Eleazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geronimo Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Urki in the 25th minute of the match. From a short distance, Albardón F.C's Eusebio Lucero, in the 33rd minute, tried to place the ball behind Seyhan Atlıhan, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xandro Sacristán got free with Seyhan Atlıhan in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Lucero came free, but Seyhan Atlıhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Eusebio Lucero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albardón F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Lucero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seyhan Atlıhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hernan Chus charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hernan Chus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Hernan Chus got a free kick in the 44th minute. Seyhan Atlıhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xandro Sacristán in the 45th minute. 45 minutes in the game, Xandro Sacristán dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After the first half Formentera were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Domingo Urki made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Domingo Urki got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xandro Sacristán in the 52nd minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Seyhan Atlıhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebio Lucero took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Seyhan Atlıhan. Seyhan Atlıhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Albardón F.C made a substitution. Juan Galo replaced Rafael Lopez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Buendia in the 62nd minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Seyhan Atlıhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Albardón F.C's goalkeeper Geronimo Eleazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albardón F.C made a substitution. Ivan Gaizko replaced Eusebio Lucero. The Albardón F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Albardón F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
