After 4 minutes of play, SC Braga's André Jordão made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramirez Olazabala was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramirez Olazabala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Romo Cardarda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romo Cardarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Antonio Adán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Romo Cardarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 33rd minute of play forced Mete y Raspa FC's goalkeeper Ramirez Olazabala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Quintino Carvalhais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramirez Olazabala. Mete y Raspa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quintino Carvalhais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Zigmantas Gimbutas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramirez Olazabala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintino Carvalhais in the 39th minute of play. In the 48th minute Zigmantas Gimbutas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramirez Olazabala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 52nd minute SC Braga were awarded a corner. Quintino Carvalhais went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Quintino Carvalhais almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mete y Raspa FC's Ramirez Olazabala did a great save. Ramirez Olazabala was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Quintino Carvalhais showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 61 minute of play. SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson was substituted for Zigmantas Gimbutas. SC Braga's Antonio Cieri was substituted for Quintino Carvalhais. With a little luck, Mete y Raspa FC's Ramirez Olazabala got control of the ball when Antonio Cieri tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Mete y Raspa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Cieri came free, but Ramirez Olazabala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramirez Olazabala came out of the goal and Lu Xun Lei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Mete y Raspa FC's goalkeeper Ramirez Olazabala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Cieri. Romo Cardarda kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Ramirez Olazabala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Mete y Raspa FC's Ramirez Olazabala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Romo Cardarda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mete y Raspa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romo Cardarda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Adán breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Cieri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Ramirez Olazabala made a huge save. Romo Cardarda kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 97 minutes Mete y Raspa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lu Xun Lei who took care of the corner kick. SC Braga's Lu Xun Lei was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ramirez Olazabala in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
