La Acade's Blas Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Panpili in the 35th minute of play. La Acade's Blas Aritza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save La Acade from getting a goal against them. Marlin FC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after La Acade's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ismael Iglesias took the corner. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teobaldo Cilio to strike the kick off in the second half. Juan Carlos Alvarez came out of the goal and Osvaldo Cantero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blas Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Cilio in the 84th minute of play. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Saturnin in the 87th minute of play. La Acade's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
