When Marzagão's Oliviero Vuelta in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sorci Viola's goalie prevented a goal. Mieszko Karanowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesare Loreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Alvise Urbani fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mieszko Karanowski, passed just outside the right post. Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliviero Vuelta in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliviero Vuelta in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Bonelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alvise Urbani took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mieszko Karanowski. Mieszko Karanowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Pedro Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Oliviero Vuelta came free, but Armando Bonelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mieszko Karanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Loreto in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Oliviero Vuelta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Bonelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Toledo in the 44th minute of play forced Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Armando Bonelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesare Loreto was the one to do the kick off. Marzagão's Mieszko Karanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Loreto in the 57th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Oliviero Vuelta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armando Bonelli. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Armando Bonelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marzagão's Murillo do Valle was substituted for Dario Gentili. 86 minutes into the match, Edoardo Meo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Marzagão's Mieszko Karanowski. Mieszko Karanowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Marzagão booed when Sorci Viola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Chioda didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Valério Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
