Aras Görkem Kaymaz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Fulgencio Eyague when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cai Yuan Yuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Eyague read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Best Ibland in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MZ Fénix's Tomasz Waldoch. MZ Fénix's Tomasz Waldoch quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Romeo Sanduru, made in the 25th minute of the game. Fulgencio Eyague didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimiro Granja went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. AC LeX Luthor's Romeo Sanduru quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tomasz Waldoch, made in the 29th minute of the game. With his leg Fulgencio Eyague managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when MZ Fénix's Vladimiro Granja fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 35 minutes into the match, Peep Pronk notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc. Pankracy Zajonc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peep Pronk in the 43rd minute of play. Fulgencio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Peep Pronk got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pankracy Zajonc was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 58 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Axel Kielstedt came free, but Pankracy Zajonc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Errando in the 61st minute of play. AC LeX Luthor's Isidro Oliviero was substituted for Peep Pronk. After a rather tough play, AC LeX Luthor's Isidro Oliviero got a free kick in the 67th minute. MZ Fénix's Alexandre Valido was substituted for Vladimiro Granja. A collision led to AC LeX Luthor getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Isidro Oliviero hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Isidro Oliviero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pankracy Zajonc was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 79th minute Zeledon Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Zajonc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidro Oliviero in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Zajonc saved MZ Fénix from getting behind. After some careless play in the AC LeX Luthor defense, Cai Yuan Yuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulgencio Eyague. The AC LeX Luthor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Eyague should have stopped the shot. Pankracy Zajonc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidro Oliviero in the 90th minute. The AC LeX Luthor fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when AC LeX Luthor's Isidro Oliviero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Oliviero in the 96th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
