That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. With a little luck, Konurbano Atletico's Teobaldo Demario got control of the ball when Oliver Bierhoff tried to sneak it across the goal line. Los Delfines were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Konurbano Atletico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valentin Primeiro took the corner. Oscar Orzaize made a great header on Los Delfines's corner, it was just that Konurbano Atletico's Teobaldo Demario managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigiusz Bubczyk in the 22nd minute of play forced Los Delfines's goalkeeper Matías Patrone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Demario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Bierhoff's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Oliver Bierhoff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Konurbano Atletico's Cristian Ronaldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matías Patrone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Konurbano Atletico's Teobaldo Demario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Konurbano Atletico from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Valentin Primeiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Teobaldo Demario however easily saved by the left post. In the 45th minute, Oliver Bierhoff reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teobaldo Demario. The goal made the score 4-1.

Konurbano Atletico's Severiano Tiadoro was substituted for Remigiusz Bubczyk. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oliver Bierhoff to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 53rd minute of play forced Konurbano Atletico's goalkeeper Teobaldo Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Los Delfines booed when Konurbano Atletico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Favila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teobaldo Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Urbez in the 73rd minute of play. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Los Delfines from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Tiadoro got free with Matías Patrone in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Los Delfines's Raimundo Goyo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Teobaldo Demario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Urbez went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los Delfines had won after a very even match.
