The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teodoro Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Westbam getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Teodoro Rocha hit a great ball. If Zbigniew Zatorski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Gomesano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zbigniew Zatorski's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Klement Pawlak came free, but Raphael Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Zbigniew Zatorski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oscar Gomesano. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Westbam's goalkeeper Oscar Gomesano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zbigniew Zatorski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Westbam's zone, Zbigniew Zatorski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Gomesano came out of the goal and Zbigniew Zatorski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Zbigniew Zatorski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Westbam's Oscar Gomesano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Westbam from getting a goal against them. Oscar Gomesano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbigniew Zatorski in the 35th minute.

Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Simo Mihklisaar was substituted for Zbigniew Zatorski. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simo Mihklisaar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oscar Gomesano came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Tony Thanos. But to his dismay, Tony Thanos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Oscar Gomesano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Toribio, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- were awarded a corner. Dobromir Malewicki went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Tim-Florian T. Hansen to score against Oscar Gomesano in Westbam's goal. 4-0 after 67 minutes. Klement Pawlak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Raphael Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Tony Thanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Gomesano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Gomesano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Thanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dobromir Malewicki hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Oscar Gomesano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Thanos in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Simo Mihklisaar notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Westbam's Oscar Gomesano. Oscar Gomesano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tony Thanos scored 6-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Gomesano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Teofil Skaradowski in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Dobromir Malewicki. Teodoro Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simo Mihklisaar in the 98th minute of play forced Westbam's goalkeeper Oscar Gomesano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fully deserved thier win.
