Yao Zhan Sang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Venancio Salvino went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Froilan Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Fernando Grover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 张常阳 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Grover in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 张常阳 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernando Grover kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 张常阳 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Levander in the 32nd minute of the match. Venancio Salvino might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yao Zhan Sang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venancio Salvino ran back to his position shaking his head. 张常阳 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Grover in the 37th minute of play. Venancio Salvino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Yao Zhan Sang made a huge save. Borussia Dortmund's Tuan Lovell got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Mathias Laborda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Grover stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Borussia Dortmund's Yao Zhan Sang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Salvino in the 54th minute of play. Yao Zhan Sang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Salvino in the 65th minute of the match. If Tomas Levander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the match, ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's goal looked a bit too open when Tuan Lovell came free, but 张常阳 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ got a freekick which was hit by Zhuo Guang Xing. 张常阳 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Levander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ defense, Baltazar Clavijo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 张常阳. The ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 张常阳 should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's goalkeeper 张常阳, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yao Zhan Sang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhuo Guang Xing in the 85th minute of the match. Borussia Dortmund's Yao Zhan Sang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Salvino in the 88th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, 张常阳 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Borussia Dortmund's Fernandez Quintairos was substituted for Tomas Levander. Borussia Dortmund's Emesto Llames was substituted for Tuan Lovell. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Duflos in the 94th minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Yao Zhan Sang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Borussia Dortmund walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
